Excellent central location, close to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Friendly and helpful staff with good language skills. Spacious dorms with comfortable beds and privacy. Basic amenities provided including towels, shampoo, and hairdryer. Convenient facilities such as a kitchen and laundry.

The location is fantastic, right next to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, perfect for young people. The hostel is clean and the staff are friendly, speaking enough English. Beds have curtains for privacy and there's plenty of space to change. The kitchen facilities are better than ours at home and there's music playing in the common areas.

Felt very welcome, no complaints at all.

Plus, the hostel offers free amenities such as milk, cereal, and detergent, which are essential for travelers.

Sadly, there are no organized events or social areas to interact with each other.

I had a short stay at this hostel, only one day, but the location was perfect for my quick visit. It was so convenient being near Dotonbori and Namba Station. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the pantry had everything I needed to prepare a quick meal. I also loved the curtains in the dorm-type room, providing privacy even when sharing with others.

I recently stayed at Hostel Q in a great location. The staff were incredibly friendly and we had nice chats throughout our stay. The hotel is centrally located, just steps away from Namba Hatch and Dotonbori. The room had a fabulous view of the Dotonbori River and was only a 4-minute walk from the famous Glico Man Sign. The kitchen was spacious, which was important for us as we brought our own halal food and enjoyed preparing our meals there. The staff spoke fluent English and provided free tea, coffee, snacks, and instant noodles. a perfect and affordable stay!

my second stay here and q really exceeded expectations. great location, next to Dotonbori and 5 min walk from Namba station. helpful staff, flexible check-in. common room stocked with games. kitchen and lounge facilities were top-notch. overall, an excellent value for money option in Osaka.

The location of the hostel is excellent, with a few minutes' walk to a popular shopping area and nearby subway and train stations. the bathrooms on every floor are convenient and come with provided toiletries, ensuring a comfortable stay. the staff is friendly and speaks fluent English, making it easier to communicate and seek assistance.

The centralised heater in the room was overly hot and caused discomfort, especially for those sleeping in the upper berths. the lack of staff available after a certain time prevented immediate resolution of this issue.

I recently stayed at a hostel in a great location, not far from Namba station. The staff were extremely friendly and always greeted me with a smile. They even offered complimentary coffee and tea, as well as instant noodles for budget travelers like myself. The laid back vibe with handwritten signs and reggae music in the lounge areas was a nice touch too.

Despite facing the canal, the noise didn't bother us at all. the staff members were friendly and spoke fluent English. the room offered a beautiful view of the river, which we enjoyed before sleeping and after waking up. We also appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and instant noodles. it was a perfect stay in terms of location, price, and amenities. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.
